Last weekend. I successfully passed the CWNP's Certified Wireless Security Professional exam. This was the second exam I did with the PearsonVue online exam. Which I felt a lot more comfortable with then I did the first time. Probably as I knew bit more of what to expect and to be honest I am not sure I will go back to a test centre method of doing exams. No panic on the day of driving to the exam. No crappy computer that you pray doesn't freeze.
For my studies, I read the CWNP official study guide and purchased the CWNP online training and past papers. I believe this being the 3rd exam in a row that I have passed the first time means my process of reading the book then using the videos and online training to add and cement my knowledge. Then complete the past papers and keep going back to the point I am passing the past papers at around 90%. It was a trick I learnt while at University. which was to read the notes before the lecture to know the topic being covered and then use the lecture to build on my understanding and to ask questions rather than taking it the first time.
